Impact by MasterCraft Safety CEO Robbie Pierce To Race At Charlotte This Weekend

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

scaled_e1311033621Charlotte Motor Speedway is best known for hosting NASCAR’s All-Star race and the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend, but the facility’s dirt track will be the center of attention this coming weekend.  Friday, July 22nd and Saturday, July 23rd TRAXXAS The Off Road Championship (TORC) series brings door-to-door “short course” off-road racing to North Carolina.  Immensely popular in the Midwest and West Coast, short course racing is the equivalent of supercross, but with 800-horsepower trucks sliding through the corners instead of motorcycles.

Never one to shy away from mixing business and pleasure, Impact by MasterCraft Safety’s CEO, Robbie Pierce, will be visiting the company’s Mooresville facility and also racing in the marquee Pro 2WD class.  Pierce purchased Impact from safety pioneer, Bill Simpson, in December of 2010 and acquired not only Impact’s product line but their strategically located facilities.  Impact by MasterCraft Safety has locations in “Gasoline Alley,” just 10 minutes away from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and in the heart of NASCAR country in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Impact by MasterCraft Safety is extending a special $5 discount for those purchasing tickets in advance for Friday and Saturday’s action packed event, but be warned that even just one exposure to short course racing can cause permanent addiction.  Bring your NASCAR hard card for $10 tickets at the door.  Don’t have a hard card?  Simply click on the link below and enter the discount code TORCX to purchase discount tickets ahead of time.

If you want to purchase tickets at the gate, simply print out the image below and bring it with you to save $5 off regular ticket prices.

Those who are unable to attend the TORC race are invited to visit Impact’s Mooresville facility where you can view and test fit their full line of products.  While this will be Pierce’s first TORC race of the season, he has competed in the entire Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) in short course and SCORE International’s desert racing series which is most famously known for the legendary “Baja 1000″.  Pierce’s desert racing teammate, Rob MacCachren, currently leads TORC’s marquee Pro 2WD class in points having won all the races thus far this season.

Both MacCachren and Pierce will be in the pits at Charlotte between races, where fans will have the opportunity to see their race vehicles up close and talk to the drivers about the latest product offerings from Impact by MasterCraft Safety.  “We will have our MasterCraft Safety products on display in our pit, such as seats, race suits, and our newly introduced head nets for short course off-road racing,” Pierce confirmed.  “Being in the heart of NASCAR country we will also have the latest pit gear, helmets, and harnesses at the race as well.”  For more information please visit www.impactraceproducts.com and www.mastercraftsafety.com and follow Impact on their Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/impactsafety.   MasterCraft Safety can also be found on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/mastercraftsafety.

MasterCraft Safety Rolls $10,000 Cash Contingency Over To Tecate SCORE Baja 500

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

Racers and fans alike recognized that MasterCraft Safety was the title sponsor for the 2010 MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250. Most also knew that MasterCraft Racing campaigned three SCORE Trophy-Trucks in San Felipe. Unfortunately, not as many racers realized that MasterCraft Safety was offering up $10,000 in contingency money, or what was required to qualify for the contingency funds. “There are racers in every class running our products, that is not the problem” commented MasterCraft Safety CEO, Robbie Pierce. “Unfortunately not everyone ran the signage required to qualify.” Fortunately for SCORE racers, Pierce has decided to roll the contingency money over to the 42nd Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 500 on June 4 – 6.

To reiterate, the following is required in order to qualify for the contingency money. Any competitor utilizing at least one of the following MasterCraft Safety components is eligible to win, providing they run a 16 inch minimum size decal above the mudline on both sides of their race vehicle.

• MasterCraft Safety suspension seats

• MasterCraft Safety restraints

• MasterCraft Safety driving suits

Payouts for class wins will be the same as proposed for San Felipe, and are as follows:

• $5000 to first place in the SCORE Trophy-Truck Class

• $2000 to first place for Class 1

• $1000 to first place for 1/2 – 1600

• $1000 to first place for SCORE Lite (Class 12)

• $1000 to first place for Class 10

As in San Felipe, SCORE Trophy-Truck racers at the Baja 500 will not need to worry about competing against the three MasterCraft Safety Jimco SCORE Trophy-Trucks for contingency money, as they will not be eligible for the winnings.

All remaining class winners will receive a set of new MasterCraft Safety restraints and the only requirement will be to run a MasterCraft Safety decal at least 16 inches in size above mudline on both sides of their vehicle. MasterCraft Safety decals will be available from the MasterCraft Safety Contingency Booth for those competitors who do not already have the required signage to qualify for contingency on their race vehicles.

MasterCraft Safety recently expanded their product offering, making it easier than ever for racers and race teams to chose MasterCraft for their complete line of personal and pit crew safety needs. New products include a full-line of performance driving suits, fuel and pit crew fire suits, neck braces, helmet skirts, and elbow and knee pads for pit crew safety. Available in SFI 3.2A/1 and SFI 3.2A/5, the performance driving suits meet and exceed all stated fire protection requirements while providing a comfortable fit and design. Optional hidden-pockets and sewn-in elbow and knee pads make this the first race suit specifically tailored to the unique environmental conditions of desert racing.

As the leading manufacturer of performance off-road suspension seating, five-point restraints, window nets, and limit straps, MasterCraft Safety products can be found not only in the majority of desert racing vehicles, but in short course, NASCAR, military, and rock-crawling as well. MasterCraft Safety’s full-line of performance seating offers both comfort and protection in high “G” load situations and provides an 84% reduction of energy in a 50 G load impact. MasterCraft Safety Announces Lucrative Cash Contingency For 24th MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

MasterCraft Safety’s role as sponsor of the 2010 MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 goes far deeper than a mere title. “Racers in every class from SCORE Trophy-Trucks to Class 11 cars rely on our products, and we are extremely grateful for that.” explained MasterCraft Safety CEO, Robbie Pierce. Recognizing that actions speak louder than words, Pierce is offering a whopping $10,000 in contingency money for the 2010 SCORE San Felipe 250. Any competitor utilizing at least one of the following MasterCraft Safety components is eligible to win, providing they run a 16 inch minimum size decal above the mudline on both sides of their race vehicle.

• MasterCraft Safety suspension seats

• MasterCraft Safety restraints

• MasterCraft Safety driving suits

MasterCraft Safety recently expanded their product offering, making it easier than ever to qualify for contingency money.

For those looking to replace or purchase new safety equipment, the lucrative contingency package offered by Mastercraft Safety makes the decision an easy one. Payouts for class wins are as follows:

• $5000 to first place in the SCORE Trophy-Truck Class

• $2000 to first place for the Class 1’s

• $1000 to first place for the 1/2 – 1600

• $1000 to first place SCORE Lite (12)

• $1000 to first place Class 10

All remaining class winners will receive a set of new MasterCraft Safety restraints and the only requirement will be to run a MasterCraft Safety decal at least 16 inches in size above mudline on both sides of their vehicle. MasterCraft Safety decals will be available from the MasterCraft Safety Contingency Booth for those competitors who do not already have the required signage to qualify for contingency on their race vehicles.

The event will be held this year on March 12-14 in San Felipe, the picturesque fishing village located along the Sea of Cortez on the Northeastern side of Mexico’s majestic Baja California peninsula. “It is a wonderful match to be able to have MasterCraft Safety join with SCORE to help enhance the dynamic experience that already surrounds this legendary SCORE Baja race,” said SCORE president Sal Fish. The pre-race Manufacturer’s Midway and tech inspection of the vehicles in the race will be held on Friday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the picturesque Malecon. Those concerned about having to contend with the three Mastercraft Safety SCORE Trophy-Trucks slated to compete in San Felipe need not fret. While the three trucks are a threat for the overall win, should one of the Mastercraft trucks prevail in the SCORE Trophy-Truck class, the contingency money will be split evenly amongst the four other classes.

Based in Santee, California, MasterCraft Safety is the leading manufacturer of performance off-road suspension seating, five-point restraints, window nets, and limit straps. MasterCraft Safety’s full-line of performance seating offers both comfort and protection in high “G” load situations and provides an 84% reduction of energy in a 50 G load impact; exactly the sort of impacts racers can expect to encounter on the notoriously rough San Felipe race course.
